Will snakes swallow fish tank stones?

i went to a reptile expo yesterday and some people had their large snakes on bright fish tank stones/rocks. i would like to do that too..

my concern is my snake is a lot smaller then their adults..would be swallow them?

They won't if you're feeding seperatly. The problem is, how are you going to clean that? Just replace the rocks everytime they get "dirty", or clean them off? It's probably easier to just use aspen or something, but if you want to use rocks, go for it!
