I currently own a Biorb 30 litre cold water fish tank and was thinking of upgrading it to a tropical one. as my current fish need to go in the pond as they are to big!!! i can convert it easily but is it hard to clean and are tropical fish harder to care for?

YES they are very difficult to take care of and maintain..but they are sooo pretty...have your tank set up by a professional..then you don't have to go through all the hassle by your self

Are they worth the extra cash??? I'm thinking about getting my boyfriend and bigger fish tank for Christmas, but right now he has a smaller one with freshwater fish. Tropical fish are a lot cooler looking and theres more variety.
