Why do my goldfishes swims up and looks as if their drinking the water?
I bought 2 male goldfish from Meijer’s I guess on 12/ 20 or 21, 2009. So being broke I put them in this regular thin glass fish bowl, no filter or heater. So yes, the water do get really cold somewhat. I feel bad for being cruel towards my goldfish; I want to keep them alive for a long time 
to the best of my ability. So my questions include:
Should I get a bigger tank for them to have enough space to swim in? And if so, what’s a good size, and how many gallons of water should it be able to hold?
How many times a day should I feed them, 3 or 2?
Do I need to get an aquarium water heater to keep their water nice and warm, or will my goldfish be fine in very cold water as well?
I know that a filter now is a MUST, or I will be changing their water everyday for the rest of their lives; it’s so tiring and back breaking because the bowl is so heavy to lift. I’M ALSO SCARED IF I SHOULD EVER STUBBLE WHILE CARRYING THEM IN THE BOWL, IT WILL FALL AND BREAK 
. I live in MI and it’s really cold right now so messing around back&forth in water is not wise for my health and hands. Of course don’t forget the expensive water bill and bad economy we live in ugh!
I also notice that I changed their water one day early in the morning, and leading to the next day their water got a little cloudy. I though it might be from the fish food but it said it wont make their water cloudy. I still don’t believe that! I also consider that the goldfishes produce a lot of waist too. Erw! Lol. So They Always Do This Thing Leading To The Second Day That I’ve Change Their Water, Where They Swim To The Top And Looks As If Their Drinking The Bowl Water Or Like Their Trying To Get Some Air??? Idk! About That, I’m Clueless. So It Scares Me, And I Give In And Change Their Water Again And They Don’t Do It Anymore. So Is It Because Their Water Is Cloudy Or Dirty That They Do This?
